Whoa, tennis won?! No way!!! Cool Very Happy

I am all for riots! When Venus W. won Wimbledon on Saturday, I was so happy that I flipped over my neighbor's Honda and torched it. She was still in the car.

Snielz, you forgot the true edge that basketball has over tennis. Basketball wins by a landslide because of tennis's Achilles heal:

Basketball fans have actually met other basketball fans. You get to watch basketball games on TV with a room full of excited fans who are cheering and hooting. Maybe even watch it in a cool bar. Very Happy

You have to watch tennis on the tiny old TV in the dark, cold basement because the rest of your family wants to watch CSI. Crying or Very sad I've actually never met another tennis fan. Crying or Very sad

Hey there, sports fans!

This one is about teaching.

Jonny,
Nice justification! Much better than I could have done.

I was just going to say...Moonraven, the thread is dead for all teaching purposes. You and Chazz and whoever else killed it with your bickering. So let Jonny and I have our fun.

Besides, ts not like you mind changing the topic from teaching to promoting Chavez or guerilla warfare against the white man (or promoting yourself) whenever the chance arises so dont be a hypocrit. As has been pointed out before, this is not your forum.

Apparently you think it is YOUR forum.

A forum for non-teachers, sports fans and roustabouts on Dave's. Why not?

But for 13 year olds? I think you've pushed the envelope a bit too far.

My question to Anna is: What the hell is going on with the left side of your stomach? Is that a hernia? And if so, how did you get it seeing as you never play any tennis? A demanding photoshoot?

Anna says, "Matty, I was just badly air-brushed in that picture. Here's a shot where they air-brushed me a lot better. Tragically, no air-brush can mask the fact that I never won a single's title on the women's tour. Crying or Very sad "

You know, I have to admit it -- Moonraven's right. I mean, she has never, ever, ever caused a thread to deviate from "teaching". Laughing

Why the insults, Moonraven? Everyone has a purpose on this Earth, even you moonie. But try to keep your purpose quiet for awhile so the board can be productive.
