I got a rush when I read your post, really. I have only ever received praise like that once from you before.

Last month I met a Brit who said he was teaching at Koc. I believed him
About a year ago I met a teacher at Sabanci and he said the salary was 3000 dollars. I believed him.

Beware of the TEFL dreamers/fantasists/nutters/''I was in industry x and I was on 2000 pounds a day but it wasn`t me'' brigade.

from what i undersand about the hazirlik, they hire mostly at TESOL, though I know of a couple who were hired locally. They rarely hire in the fall. Comm, which is mostly for 1st year writing, sometimes hires in the fall if they have tons of students. You have to have a TESOL for both. And they are not all N Americans by the way, though the majority is.
