Hello,
I do not know if it's appropriate to do this, and please forgive me if it is not, but i feel that i should report about an institution in Caracas, Venezuela that claims to be all that and more but really falls way short with its teachers.

The place is called RUGE, Idiomas RUGE. It truly ranks in the bottom of my list. I have never been treated worse at any job that i've had, and I've worked in the fast food industry, just so you have an idea.
I'm not happy with the way they treat me or the way they treat any of the other foreign teachers. They're not the worst, i imagine there's many othe companies that treat teachers worse than this, but still, i mean, a little respect for the teaching staff and not treating them like idiots is never out of order. I'm truly frustrated working for these people.

Just a friendly warning, watch out what you're getting into before you sign anything with them, as anybody should with any company.

You do not give any details in regard to the bad treatment you received.

Why should we assume that the school is the problem?

Maybe YOU are the problem. With no facts or information we can just as easily draw that conclusion.

Since it is clear from your post on another thread that you hate being in Venezuela, why not just go home?

What we mean is, what exactly happened? How was the school specifically? What are your complaints?

Cause honestly, without specifics, I don't know that the school is the problem. I don't know that you're the problem either. Really, I don't know squat about the situation.

But we should be careful not to assume (in either direction, teacher or school) until we know something.

There are a lot of schools out there who do take advantage. Also a lot of teachers who probably have it coming. But we don't know what's happening in this case.
