Hello again! I'm full of questions. I just received my working holiday visa this week from my consulate and I'm wondering what the procedures would be to transfer to a work visa should I be able to find a full time job.

I did do a search but couldn't seem to find the process behind it. Help is appreciated!

Cheers

You'll need a sponsor (basically your employer) for a Work Visa. They should be able to guide you through the process. It's fairly common.

You simply need to go to an immigration office and apply for a change of status by filling out the form. You will need your passport, probably an alien registration card if you have one and to buy a royalty stamp.

You need to ensure you have what is required by immigration e.g. a degree and a sponsor) before you apply.

Usually they require you to have your contract and/or a letter from your employer in Japanese to accompany your degree.
