Does anyone know of any schools in need of TEFL teachers for college or adult students in Northern and Central India? |

To the best of my knowledge, most if not all of the work is with call centers.
Check the job adverts here at Dave's. |

The only actual teaching work I have heard of in N. India/Nepal is on a volunteer basis dealing with Tibetan refugees, such as with the Tibetan Children's Village in Dharamsala or other aid organizations/monastery schools. These positions usually pay room and board. The best way to find out about these jobs is to actually go there, check out message boards at guest houses, etc. I had a short-term TEFL job at a monastery school in Nepal and loved it. Someday I would like to go back long-term but want to get my actual TEFL cert and more money in the bank first. |
