Summer school begins this week Crying or Very sad

and there will be LOADS of people wanting to vent about their lot at these places....why no UK forum for Europe?? UK is dead for TEFL for 10 months of the year...but in July and August it goes nuts !! What do you think??

Hmm... I'm not sure giving UK teachers an open invitation to whinge is a good idea, especially as it's a national past-time here, so maybe that's why there's no UK forum?!

I've never had the 'pleasure' of teaching at a UK summer school; the one I teach at is open all year round, as are most schools in London... and those that aren't visa factories aren't too bad to work in... especially on the south coast.

I agree that there should be a TEFL board for the UK, there's one for North America, NZ and Australia, why not the UK?

...yeah, it just seems a bit rum that there are lots of other great forums but nothing for the UK....okay it may be a little quiet but if you look at some of the others on this site then you would reach the conclusion that several places like Bahrain, Israel and Costa Rica are hardly blowing the servers at Daves HQ...... Come on, Dave !!!! We need you... seriously.
