I'm wondering if there is any recent news about Wall Street Institute, Opening, or any of the other schools of this type. Most of the postings on this forum regarding them are quite out of date. Has Wall Street disappeared? One teacher told me that the method had been more or less totally discredited in Spain, and that learners now insist on classes with teachers, rather than computers. Any comments?
My own view is that the problem lies with the yearly, up-front payments. This sends the franchhisees into a frenzy and leads to all sorts of chaos, lies, and corruption.
I'm keen to know because the Wall Street method has been used very aggressively in China (where I am based) and I think we can see the signs of some deep probelms with it. Over here nobody knows about what happened in Spain/Brazil/other places when Wall Street greed got completely out of hand. It is interesting also that the founder of Wall Street has been in China for the last few years, as if it is toi be his next scam.
I'd be very keen to hear anything. |

It's funny. I heard that there used to be hudreds of Wall Street schools all over Spain. Now it seems as if they hardly exist. |

The Spanish have evidently realised that Wall Street is no good. |

Maybe its the All-American name it has - since the collapse of the internet tech stocks on Wall street and the deep unpopularity of all things all-American after the moron invaded Iraq? |
