I am going to Changmai to train and work, however I plan at some point to cross into Laos and Vietnam for some good tourist fun. My question is:
Is it possible and reasonable to acquire anti-malarial drugs in Thailand? Are there any pitfalls to look for in the process?

Don't waste your money mate, they're not really needed unless you're going somewhere in the middle of nowhere and even then I'd probably not bother.
Although they'll definitely IMO be cheaper this end (my parent spent a small fortune on them in the UK and then realised.....they didn't really need them). |
