Happy:
Enjoying vacation on the Cote d'Azur.
Enjoyed Amsterdam.
Annoying:
Dry as a bone here, even Marrakesh. |
Marrakesh is not on the Cote! Neither is it dry, if you know where to look. |

Thanks for the laugh. I love it when children write poetry ... their naivety is so cute! |
I love it when adults do. Same reason. |

Happy: off to Australia for a month's break this Saturday YAY.
Going to drink some decent wine for one whole month. And spent time with my terrific husband, so lots of nookie (I hope...!!!).
Unhappy: Just heard that the compensation I'll receive from the Water Company for severe ankle injury sustained when falling through a manhole, leaving me in long-term pain, will be 3000 rmb which is 2000 rmb more than a Chinese person would get (I'm told). Nearly told them to stick it, but then thought WTF it'll pay for a few beers. |

Happy: Got a Polish phrase book
Unhappy: It wasn't the Lonley Plannet one I wanted but couldn't find. Still, Berlitz makes an alright phrase book so can't complain |
