Let's compare our beloved board to a great sporting event. I wouldn't flatter myself. I wouldn't get past the first or second hurdle. Who are the horses that last the distance?
Falling at the first- Pt and Linda
The grey that everyone loves- Capegirl
One who almost made the distance- Kent( too busy checking out new sites)
The final furlong- It's bnix, johnslat and Scot47. They are neck and neck. Who is the final winner?
Wasn't that 'doors' with Shergar in the stables?
Sorry I'm not making any sense. Must be the summer heat.
Who is the most influential poster on this board? Who is first past the post? What are the odds on the favourites? And what do I mean by influential |

Thaks for the mention.I think
1.What is the Grand National?
2.What was 'doors'doing in the stable with that horse?
3.Will Poland ever recover after 'doors'visit there?
4.Is he stopping in Laos to pick up a supply of Lao rope?
5.When can we prepare for his return? |

bnix,
1. The Grand National is the biggest horse race of the year in the Uk( Even your grannie has a little flutter.
2. i don't know. probablly best not to.
3. Probably not. Will they still be allowed to join the EU?
4. I don't think so. I've been assured there are other places.
5. Can we ever prepare for his return? |

cool idea for a post --just a bit tardy....the Grand national was in April. Who cares-- here's some tips for next year::::

Make Sure that you leave with plenty of time to get to the racecourse as traffic is normally very heavy in the Liverpool and Aintree area on the racedays. Train Tickets can be booked at the Trainline.com website. To plan a route in the car Maporama offer a door to door direction service.

Remember - NO ALCOHOL IS ALLOWED TO BE BOUGHT INTO THE EVENT BY RACEGOERS. There are numerous bars and restaurants, as well as food outlets located around the course.

Going Remains GOOD At Aintree
Date 27/3/2003
The going remains GOOD on all three courses at Aintree Racecourse as watering continues ahead of next week's Martell Cognac Grand National meeting, running from Thursday to Saturday, April 3 to 5.
Andrew Tulloch, Aintree's Clerk of the Course, said today: "We have been watering for between 12 and 14 hours each day, putting on 350 gallons of water per minute as we continue to aim to produce going no faster than GOOD for the Martell Cognac Grand National Meeting.
"There is a 20 per cent possibility that we could get two millimetres of rain on Friday and again a chance of one millimetre of rain on Saturday morning. We are then forecast to have fine days on Sunday and Monday and early next week."
You can now Bet directly from the Racing Network Racecards with the latest prices PLUS ante-post or SP with Victor Chandler.
