There is a Nanjing International School. To my knowledge, it has been set up by expats. There is a sizeable international community there now, including Germans working in German-Chinese auto JV's. The school is supposed to have a Western (British?) curriculum, but they certainly are quite discriminating when hiring someone!
The local unis do not have a bad reputation, just like most universities in this country! |

| NOt discriminating AGAINST anybody, just looking for the strictly-professional. TEFL certs are useless, you will need a little more than that, and from reputable universities. |

turn up in nanjing and look aroudnd. Lots of jobs will be offered to you on the street!
or, look on chinatefl.com, as they have a lot for Nanjing.
Two reliable ones I personally know are nanjing University of Economics (in its various names), and Nanjing univ. of aeronautisa and astronautics.
the high schools are usually good, too. |
