Just seen an ad on Craig's List and they are paying 6 pounds an hour. Do you realise Gate Gourmet were paying more than that and they paid social security, guaranteed a monthly salary 12 months a year, sick pay, holiday pay and union membership.

yeah, too bad for us...

but still i guess the rates are made according to the economic condition of the country.

i've also heard that in asia the payment rates are even worse, if that can be an esteem booster for anyone working in TR Smile

No, they are both still paying 6 pounds an hour.

TEFL wages are not paid in accordance to the economic condition of the country. The UK is supposed to be the fourth richest country in the world but TEFL wages are pathetic.

TEFL is its own economic misery.

if you have a masters degree you can make about $36,000/yr in the US. Fena degil... however, then you have to live in the US Evil or Very Mad

Oof ya. Why write in English and then for no sebep put some Turkish keleme in? I mean, bir zamet it is so annoying, degil mi?

If you have a masters? Well that is almost all of Turkey teflers out of the equation which keeps pay and conditions low here. Ha Ha.
