Hello

My boyfriend and I are looking for a temporary room located centrally, ideally in Kadikoy, Taksim or within a 15-ish minute walk of a ferry. We will only need a place for a week or two or three or a month TOPS! we are looking for work right now and need to be central to get to interviews etc. We just need a small room with a bed and shared bath would be fine. We have a temporary place now but I'm allergic to cats and there are cats there... and we only get the couch so would much prefer our own space of course.

I wonder if that's the place a couple of our teachers stayed at. They were very pleased with it, though these posters might want to get their own place pretty quickly since they are a couple.

Some internet cafes post rooms/apts for rent, there is mymerhaba, and Linda's book exchange posts rooms, I am told. Failing all of the above there are some pretty cheap hotels in Taksim.

I just looked at Craig's list and there are some rooms for rent there.

I actually just found the place in Galata and we'll move there tonight but we'll take a look at the other sites once we know where we need to be!
