|
|
Hello,
I will be having my CELTA phone interviews in the next couple of weeks with both ITI and British Council. I was wondering what I should familiarize myself with before the interview. Will they question my knowledge of TEFL? Are these programs very competitive?
Also, given the choice between a part time ITI course, and a full time British Council course, what do you recommend?
Everyon has been so helpful on this board. I do appreciate it.

don't worry about the interview. it is just a formality. as long as you are not a total freak you will be accepted on both programs- this is a business after all. as to which one? Do you want to do it f/t or p/t? I would recommend ITI, I am biased though. The trainers at ITI are excellent(most BC trainers over the years were trained at ITI) Also Tom at ITI has loads of contacts so is good for post CELTA recruitment.
Whichever you choose best of luck. |

You will also learn some great warmers like buzz fizz or is it fizz buzz. Some great games like change places if. And you are paying for it. |

It was especially exciting when Warne got 3 quick wickets. |

Good point. However I believe the TP will be in EF in Levent, don't they have resources?

I suppose by the time the next ashes comes around England will have won the World Cup and cricket will be a minority sport again.

Apologies to casab22 for hijacking the thread. To get back to your question both are good courses(but ITI is better ) as i said before if you want to do it f/t go for the council if you want to do it p/t go for ITI. |
