I'll keep it short: I want to teach adults/college students in Russia, preferably Moscow. I have a Master's degree in TESOL/Linguistics from an American university. I am a lecturer at a university in the states where I have taught ESL writing classes for the past 4 years.

What are my options?

Also: Are there jobs available in the universities? Am I qualified? How do I find them?

Is ESL writing the only work experience you have? How big are your classes? Have you taught in privately-owned language schools before?

It is not impossible to get a job with an MA Applied Linguistics. It all depends who your contacts are.

No, ESL writing is not the only ESL experience I have. And, yes, I have taught in privately-owned language schools before - why do you ask?

You should highlight your TEFL experience in language schools, and not the Writing Class at your university.
