I've just realised that if you are looking for a thread that is more than a year old, you can't. The function will only search as far back as a year. There is a topic on the Turkey forum that is relevant to a thread we had along time ago. I know the thread title and author but I can't find it. Other than going through the many pages, is there a way to find it. I know it is over 18 months old. |

I just tried and was able to pull up posts from 2003, no problem. The search ranks them in order by date posted, with the most recent at the top. You have to go back several pages for earlier dates.
Maybe what you are looking for was 'pruned' off the forum. |

Darn you guy you are too quick for me. As you answered so quickly I can't delete my op now. I found what I was looking for. It wasn't a thread, it was a pm in my save box. dmb is dumb(again) |

The secret is to plug Dave's directly into the prefontal cortex (a tricky procedure, but easily done with a spoon and some WD40). That way, messages actually arrive to my brain seconds before you send them. I won't get into the impossible physics of that because it's a secret project we are working on.
Oh, and you'll find your socks behind the sofa. Stop looking.

Nope my socks are next to my boxers, where they always are- in the fridge. speaking of dumb. On another forum i just edited my post(well, added something) However I almost pressed the wrong icon and reported myself! How would the mods react if a poster reported him/herself? |

Hmm...I sense a self-destructing thread.
Funny you mention that. My wife insists on putting clothes in the freezer. She says they are easier to iron after. |

I wasn't. But, hey, she wears the skirt in the family. I'd wear the pants, but they need ironing. I'm gonna hear it now for being such a misogynist. Truth is, I do my own ironing.
Toast to you, DMB. Be joining you in another 10 hours. |

I certainly wouldn't criticise the fridge thing...I have discovered that if you iron the clothes a second time, it looks exactly as if you had washed them. This is true as long as you keep track, and don't do it more than once or twice, or after the guninea pig has peed on them...

Guinea pigs pee less if you deny them participation in the toast. FYI |
