So I thought I'd get the first message in for the new academic year!

For those of you new to the HK Forum, it is THE place to be on Dave's. Look at the number of posts, the hits, the flames Rolling Eyes

We have some of the best posters (most responses to the things they post) in recent years. Unfortunatley, they're all the same person. Once they/he are banned we're all in search of other forums where things are happening.

This is quite unique to the HK forum. I know it's the same in other forums where there's not alot happening, but HK is a small city (oh how I wish he wasn't banned so I could be ripped apart for calling it small...) with loads of ESL teachers.

It's just that there's so much to do here I guess - especially if you're working! I read with envy about the 12 lesson weeks my Mainland colleagues enjoy. What do they do with all that time? That's right they post dammit!

I think most people read this forum only for the job-experience/job-search nature. Look at the things being discussed on other forums and we're very reflective of HK society in general i.e. if it doesn't make me money or have to do with work I don't care.

I'll stop now and wait for a new Hero to rise out of the ashes and flame - maybe he should come back as "Phoenix" - that might be a good thread I'll start it now!

Yeah, it can be rather serious around these pearts - and it's been that way for a long time.

Maybe if the ZERO cold be a little more discrete in his "crtiques" of the mainland, then he'd last a bit longer each incarnation. But then he wouldn't be himself, now would he?
