Anyone know? I'm assuming you have to change buses somewhere like Temuco or even Pucon, but I can't seem to find any information about the specifics. |

you could try the following sites.
www.turbus.com - www.turbus.cl
or
www.pullman.com.
you can take the train also to temuco, the best salon class ticket is something like 18,000 pesos. Then go on to Argentina.
Esatcion central for all buses to south.
Im assuming you are in Chile at the moment.
I think the turbus site lets you buy online. |

Thanks for that. It's the Temuco to San Martin connection I'm having the difficulty with. |

Maybe you already found this info, but if it's San Martin de los Andes you want to go to, you could catch a bus to Barriloche from Temuco, and a local bus to SMdlA. If it's another San Martin, I have no idea.
Did you go, how was it? |

Hi
Yes I went and it was fantastic. San Martin is beautiful, well worth a visit especially if you enjoy skiing/snowboarding.
I ended up catching a bus from Pucon, which takes about 8 hours but was very scenic as the route goes through the Volcan Lanin National Park. |
