Founded by a Chinese Christian couple, they operate from their HK headquarters with branches in the mainland and in the U.S.A. |

One of the most expensive international school in HK. It has a reputation for excellence that it doesn't deserve. Anyone who has worked for them knows that they cut corners and have a management style that leaves a lot to be desired. there are much better international schools to work for. |

I worked at this school many years ago! What is said above is true. I enjoyed my time there and made many friends but the management is very poor. It survives because it is one of two real international schools which have a bi-lingual curricullum, which is much desired by many parents. However, rather than being truly bi-lingual the school tacks a local style edcuation onto a UK/ Australian style curricullum. Whilst a Western teaching style is predominant, the management is Chinese. It may be a good place to start in Hong Kong, but few teachers stay more than a few years. |

I recently taught at this school (Gubei/Shanghai campus)- the postings above are 100% correct. Shocking Aussie Admin- if they treated staff the way they do back in their home country they'd get a major kick up the a#@%. Such a pity as the general teaching staff and the students are wonderful. It should have been such a great experience... |

I found the owners respectable and pleasant. The working conditions were pretty good too. |

I notice this school advertises for teachers a lot.
Could those that have worked there provided an idea of salary? How does the package compare with other international schools? |
