A friend of mine is going to Thailand to work at the Siam International School. Does anyone have any information about this school? |

This may be too little too late, but ...
Siam International School is a bona-fide international school
and a member of ISAT: http://www.isat.or.th/
They should have their act together, imho:
http://www.siamschool.ac.th/
In terms of location, they're in the BKK suburb of Rangsit,
about 30 minutes north of downtown Bangkok.
Looks like a pretty nice school
... and
your friend will be right around the corner from Dream World.
http://www.dreamworld-th.com/english/index.php I'm jealous.
PS: Sorry for the late reply! |

Ah, now I remember. A friend of mine went to get a job there about 6 months ago. After speaking to the owner he couldnt get out of the school quick enough.
There were too many unanswered questions about staff turnover, class size, curriculums, salary, whether he could get a discount for his own kids and so on. I think he said the owner is a high up in one of the banks. The school is yet another business on the side.
Because its so far out you need to live near there or have your own transport. |
