Take note - there is an A-One Hotel as well as the more better known A-One Inn. I spent my first couple of days at the former, good value for money ($20 US / night) but a bit out in the burbs - you won't get much change out of 100 baht for a taxi into town. Now at A-One Inn, it's much cheaper at around 500 baht / night and very central. Recommended!

If anyone cares, if I went to Bangkok again I'd stay at the A-one rather than the Reno.

Van-island,

How was the CELTA course at ECC? Would you reccomend it? Was it difficult/challenging/a nightmare or a piece of cake? Any feedback would be much appreciated.

I guess I would recommend it, yeah. Not only it is the cheapest CELTA I've come across, but it's also not bad as far as TEFL courses go. I learnt quite a bit about teaching, which I guess was good too. Wink It was most definitely challenging, although more so in terms of work load than intellectually speaking.
