Asking this for a friend.

Guy is Indian, fluent English speaker. Masters degree in Commerce, qualified math and English teacher.

Wants to do a working vacation for a year.

Help?

I think there is work for Indian nationals, anywhere the demand for foreign, English speaking, teachers significantly exceeds the supply (hope I'm not making this sound too pessimistic).

Actually, last summer, I was aware of a couple of Indians teaching in a private, business college: I was tutoring some of their students. The Indians were teaching business related subjects, as well as English- as I understood it from my students.

Depends his work experience.

I worked for a while at I-TIM the "International Tourism and Hotel Management School" (a real mouthful!) - several years back and there was an Indian national teaching there - tourism and travel related classes. He had good working history with Lufthansa.

He should check whatever specialties and work experience he has and see if he can match it against what some of the specialty colleges might be looking for.

Should be able to find work, but Indians often tend to have problems with their Visas (so if after 90 days on a Non-imm B or proper tourist Visa he may have to fly back to India to get a new Visa).
