Hey guys and gals I'm finally getting to use my CELTA.
I start my first post-CELTA teaching job next weekend in Dublin School in Castellon, Valencia - any advice.
I taught a few years ago in Dublin, Ireland which was good and then had a pretty bad experience with a school in southern Italy earlier this year but I've got fingers, toes and eyes crossed for this one.

Castellon? They have an English school there now and are hiring from as far away as the UK?
Incredible. I took on an MA program last year (2004) and was living in Castellon. There is a small little foreign community all attending a 'peace and development' MA program through that university.. you'll see them around I'm sure - I was one of them.
Apartments are really cheap in Castellon as well. My 3-bedroom apartment was 240 euros a month.. meaning my share was 80 euros a month.. I suppose I could have just kept all 3 bedrooms to myself being that it was that inexpensive - but I was a student.
Anyhow, I could give you tons of info on Castellon.. anything specific you want to know? |
