Just tell the better half that your checking your email and you'll be 5 minutes. She'll fall asleep then you stay up for hours downloading, etc to your hearts content. In the morning, after you have had an only hour sleep. Feign illness then spend half the day in bed.

speaks the voice of experience.......
No feigning illness for me, if I even sneeze in front of her or her mam I wisked straight down the hospital and giving a course of anti-biotics. Wink

My dad's been working on a novel for the last 10 years, but he won't let anyone read it. That one works fine for us.

I can see you are in need of some lessons.

Lesson 1. LIE ABOUT WHAT YOU ARE ACTUALLY DOING

Lesson 2 DON'T GET CAUGHT(always have two windows open so you can easily switch, and she will never find out about the goats)

The thought never entered my head.
Just out of interest, do you ever read any other forum on Daves.

Now you have broadband you'll find yourself visiting forums of countries you have never been to, especially when Eastenders is crap.

Every time I read another forum I get mad because there are so many jerky or pompous or sleazy (like China!) people there...

They make our dear Mr. 31 (where the hell is he, anyway?) look as harmless as tapioca pudding.

No, only Turkey, I've looked a couple of others, but I reckon Turkey is the daddy of Dave's forums.

Very true. This forum is the most entertaining. I am also on the ME forums alot and the GD forum. Mainly because I know people who post on them.

I sometimes randomly chose a forum and try to get an idea of teaching conditions lifestyle etc in various countries. Nothing seems to compare to here though.

I hope that the moderators are impressed with the positive post we've made today. If anybody spoils it I'll set the dog on them.
