Where I'm from (outside of Boston) Chris can be a girls' name, as well as Kris, or as shortened forms of Kristin or Christine or Christina.
Most of the stories in this thread seem to be "somewhat embarrassing moments" I was hoping some of you would share some really Terrible moments. Even the opening post -"would you be my friend?" Frankly I think the teacher and student are both better off with the curt "no." I don't know what the context was (the teacher was some kind of volunteer at a nursery school?) But really, where are the War Stories? |

Seeker of truth ~ what I find truly disgusting is your lack of compassion for students that suffer from anxiety disorders and inability to help /assist the student to over come such anxiety: nervousness and sweating. Instead of helping the student relax you compound the situation by telling him his involuntary disorder is disgusting!!??!!
I think your teaching skills are truly disgusting!!! |

Doing adjectives, trying to get first graders to describe their surroundings, themselves, basically anything that involves adjectives. Angelic little girl raises her hand.
"Guangho teacher fat pig!" Nodding for emphasis.
"Cherry that is not very nice. Please think of something else."
"Okay." (Innocent eyes lost deep in thought.) "Guangho teacher fat pig!" |
