Hi there, I'm going for my Trinity TESOL course soon, does anybody have any suggestions as far as TEFL teaching books, say with ideas for classroom activities, maybe a little for every age/skill level?
Does anything stand out in the minds of the veterans? I'm not looking for something to slavishly follow but i feel like i could probably benefit from something that others feel has worked in the past.
I like to browse the idea cookbook here on Dave's but I like paper and ink.
Thanks |

Look for anything by Jeremy Harmer. One of his texts (I forget the title) was recommended for the Trinity Cert TESOL course that I took four years ago. TEFL books are also usually advertised beside each database entry on the TEFL.com website. You can also look for TEFL literature in Amazon, too, since any book icon you click on in the TEFL.com website will take you there. |
