Hey any fellow church goers that could give the low down on any local churches?
And comments would be appreciated thanks!
Those that have English services too. |

Hello,
You might swing by a 7-11 and check the Saturday issue of the China Post English newspaper.
You should find a half-page section that lists information on English-speaking churches all over the island.
Best wishes!

Hey Tayler,
Do you go to church in Kaohsiung? What is the Christian community like there? Are there any english teaching churches?
My wife and I are trying to decide on where we want to live. This has a big impact on what we are going to do. |

You could try Lighthouse Baptist Church on Tatun 12th St. between Liming Rd and Henan Rd just south of Kung Yi Rd.
I don't know the street number offhand, and the phone number is at home. It might me a little hard to find because it's on such a small sidestreet.
It has services half in Chinese and half in English. It's very small but comfortable.
I would recommend you try to find it. Good luck! |

Hello Englishmaster,
You didn't mention the city of that church...is it Taipei? (I live in Kaohsiung and the streets did not look familiar at all).
Thanks,

there are churches in kaohsiung. The bread of life seems like a good one, it is a charismatic church (I'm not exactly sure of the denomination) and there are a few others (catholic ect...). they are easy enough to find people say. |
