Hi
we both did the CELTA, (husband and wife) and whilst it was hard work it was worth it.
The main thing on the course we felt was continous assesement and self reflection. i.e. you need to reflect on every observed teaching and be able to say what went well, what was not so good and what you would change if you did the lesson again. Here the assesors are looking for the fact that you can self assess and don't keep making the same 'errors'. I agree with the fact you can have a bad day and the course look at your overall attitude and progress. If you are in danger of failing they should tell you.
GOOD LUCK |
