has to be one of the blandest airports in the world.

But then Taipei City is also like that.

And I guess, that explains this forum.

Judging by the quality of Miyazaki's posts on this forum his departure will be no loss to the rest of us.

Usually my mind is on going home, rather on the surroundings at CKS. Not every airport can be Hong Kong.

Terminal 2 is much better than terminal 1.

It's nicer because it's number 2. It tries harder.

Mediocre is the occupational governement at it's best.
Also interesting to note that the amount spent on the new terminal building is nearly twice as much as it cost to build the entire Hethrow airport in London.

Guang Zhou airport is pretty similar - and the officials there sit in airconditioing while you wait in 40 C heat for some department to allow your plane to leave Smile
Taipei is bland - it reminds me far less of China and much more of Malaysia than i would have ever expected.
But it is a city i guess...

Dude, why do you stay here if you hate it so much? Seriously. Are you trapped here? Are you wanted by the authorities in every other country? You should really think about moving on. You'll be a much happier revolutionary if you do.

This has to be the blandest thread in the world - why bother?
I'm only bothering to reply to such a pointless post as it shocks me to think people actually give a s**t about the airport and care so much that they actually write about it on here.
Also i can't sleep and can't go out to get doritos as it's pi**ing it down!
