A few years ago I made the mistake of mentioning my lack of Branston to friends visiting from or via the UK and ended up with such a collection )small and regular chunk) that I ended up giving it away as birthday and christmas pressies before they expired. Am now nursing one and a half jars. |

There is a little supermarket at the end of Akarsu sok. in cihangir. That's the street with Lela, Porte and Smyrna. Don't bother looking for it. Just ask one of the many assistants. The place is a right little Aladin's cave. Loads of stuff you wouldn't expect to find. The latest find was baked beans. |
