Im not and English second language teacher but an am a Aupair living in Madrid. I am having trouble meeting people mainly because I am with the kids all day. I was just checking out the job forum and saw this...wondering if I could come along some week and join in on the trivia. Is it only ESL teachers who play?

No problem, come down and join a team, there are loads of English speakers there who can help out with repeating/explaining the question: the point is not winning, the taking part and meeting people is the main thing (along with raising money for the charity) - come along and we�ll find you a team to join

Anyone up for the pub quiz tonight? Last week we got 40 people down (in the end: it�s amazing how quickly foreigners adopt Spanish timing..!), had loads of fun, met some very nice new people, so just as a reminder, it�s tonight (Monday) at 9:30pm (very loosely), at Moores Irish pub just outside metro Tribunal

Just a reminder to you all that our Monday night pub quiz is still going strong and everyone is very welcome to come down and join us. It�s all for charity, it�s a lot of fun and you can also win cash and booze-type prizes and most importantly meet a bunch of people.

It�s at Moores pub every Monday night (the Irish pub right oppostite you when you come out of the Tribunal metro stop) and it�s supposed to start at 9:30 (but ends up being nearer 10:00 by the time we actually get started and everyone�s found a team to join)
