MT I think you have stated my evidence very well when you say that even if you had done all the research you would probably have wound up under the same or similar circumstances.

I am from West Virginia which should give you some insight into my next comments. I believe that God has a plan for each of us and that each experience we endure is for His purpose and glory. He will allow us to make mistakes but He will always be there to help us learn from them and guide us to a better place. Even if we are stupid, He will use that for our betterment.

I have lived a life of hell on earth and yet He brought me through and into China to teach. He takes care of me even when I can not.

Man's wisdom is but naught while His is everything. I have faith in God and not in myself, my research, my ability etc. So I say "Jump in the water. Sink or swim according to His plan for your life." He is there and will never forsake you. He will never give you more than you can handle. He will always give you what you need to accomplish His will for your life.

Now please accept my apology for going into this as I realize it may offend many who have no faith but I am living proof that there is a God and He does still perform miracles!

From experience, get a teaching certificate in your home country before you come to China to teach. You can make 6 times as much with a certificate than w/out in China in major cities. These schools that will take you with just a bachelors degree are ripping you off.
