I was wondering if anyone had been to San Luis or Salta . . . please post your experiences or impressions or you can send me a personal message if you'd like. Thanks!

San Luis is ugly and inhospitable with few worthy attractions, I'm also guessing very few work opportunities. If you are looking for an awesome, semi-rural place I would recomend Tucuman. It has amazing scenery, fresh fruits and vegetables, very nice people, and is a university town so I would guess there would be privates galore there. I also love the whole province of Cordoba, but am not personally on the Mendoza bandwagon.

Go back to Mendoza in December and you'll join the bandwagon, i guarantee...in winter there's not a great deal to do but at the start of the summer holidays the place is simply awesome, buzzing with energy...the girls are pretty tasty there as well...
