I taught at Bond, and my advice is to avoid it if you can. The owners live in Canada and try to run the school by telephone and e-mail. Since nepotism is the name of the game in China, the owners put there inept relatives in charge of the school. If you are strong-willed and don't mind a good fight, go for it. Otherwise, steer clear.

Zhongshan is not a hot bed of activity if you like to go out at night but Friends Bar is awesome, owned by 2 Canadian brothers, Gary & Brad.

Best of luck.
