I am a Brit. I'll be heading back home soon to do my post graduate certificate in education. (This is the year long course you do if you have a bachelors and then decide you want to become a school teacher after.)
The course I really want to do is a MEd in outdoor recreation at SUNY. Thing is they say I can't do the MEd unless I have NY state certification. Does anyone know what is involved in getting this. FOr example, if I have my UK certification is it a matter of taking a test, or a short course, or will they ask me to do a four year degree?
