Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has some input about the company posting in Indonesia, EF English First Kelapa gading, North Jakarta? Has anyone had any bad experiences with this company? If so do tell
Thanks in advance,

Do a search and you will see EF discussed quite extensively by FT's in China. |

EF is a chain school; each school is a franchise run on a corporate philosophy similar to McDonald's. Like any franchise, some outlets are well run, and some are not. Do some research; ask in the INDONESIA forum, and ask the school for some references from past or current teachers. |

I worked for EF in Shijiazhuang, China and it was a really good experience. The staff were friendly, the Center Manager was extremely helpful (sometimes excessively so!), and the DOS did his best to run the school in a professional manner. I would've stayed for another year (as many teachers did), had the school been in a more desirable location.
Like ls650 said, it's like Mc Donalds--sometimes the service is great, other times you get the wrong order and the staff are rude. Depends on the location, employees, attitudes, etc. |
