All the schools I worked for required a degree but I've heard of people saying they had a degree when they didn't and finding work.

Not being white is not a problem in Poland. In fact some ladies find us to be more exotic.

Where are you from?

A couple of years ago a teacher at my school here in Krakow got working papers without a four year degree. He had an AA degree and somehow got working papers with that.

Maybe things have changed recently with the stricter EU laws? Still alot of us working illegally, though, without papers here in Krakow.

Good luck.

Under EU directive 1432/20/9807, dated 01 April 2005, members of ethnic minorities and the registered disabled are excused the general requirement to hold a university degree for academic posts.
