Sağol.

Off topic: has anyone else ever lost an ikamet (mine was stolen) and tried to report it missing and had no luck in getting anyone in any cop shop to listen and deal with it/advise what to do? I'm trying to renew mine now and they doofuses in aksaray asked me why I didnt report it missing when it happened. I tried to! I was sent away from every police station from Şişli to Feriky. Aaaagh!

Get someone from your school (a Turk) to help you. It will make things much faster and smoother.

Don't wait.

Duh

You are supposed to report it missing to Aksaray and not to a local police station.

Is it because he isn't fully grown yet?

Eep, that is what it sounds like, isn't it? He may be a bit skinny, but he hasn't got any more (vertical) growing to do!

I should have said, "I don't find Turkish men in general irresistable, but the boyfriend is another story."

I realise we are several pages on and the thread seems to have died, but I have to retrieve my rep!

(What happened to the cute children discussion? Want pictures of adorable kiddies!)

Yes, adorable. Oddly enough, I looked a bit like that when I was that age... no wonder they all say I look Turkish!

You all have very sweet children. I have now had my cuteness fix for the week, thankee. Very Happy
