The implication appears to be that no Indonesian women work as lawyers or architects. I fear that you are mistaken. Many of those whom I referred to were indeed of the female persuasion, though I am sure that the upwardly mobile ladies within your own sphere of influence have gainful employment or are at least professional in other respects.

Mind you, I had a bit of trouble with your last post. You've lost a little of the fine articulation which you had displayed previously. Don't worry though it happens to the best of us in the heat of the moment.

Professionalism in this business? I haven't encountered much during the last six years.

Now if you will accept my apologies, it is time for me to enter a Scotch induced slumber whilst listening to the fine twanging of Elmore James. A Scotch which I can shamefully admit my shackled housekeeper would never in her wildest dreams be able to buy. She will just have to contend with the fried tempe and rice which I throw her way from time to time.

Implication? Actually. Not by design. Sorry about that.
I did not for a moment want to infer that Indonesian women don’t work as architects or lawyers. I’m sure they do.
I’m also sure that they are far less inept, ineffective and slovenly in those capacities than their male counterparts.
I'm just hazarding a guess. I know I shouldn't generalize but in my experience, Indonesian women are far brighter than the men
Man you are goood! Yes indeed. All the women within my realm of influence are in fact low-lifes. Let me add, they are definitely not professional.
Now about my having lost a previously displayed articulacy in the heat of the moment (and thank you for that. I got all puffed up).
Are you psychic or what? Heated? I’ll say. In fact it was down right frantic although the ergonomics of these new laptops (nape-top in this particular instance) is phenomenal and allowed me to keep going (typing that is, well both actually).
So you haven’t experience much professionalism in six years. Bummer.
I have already told you why. It is the underling man!
The underling who sees teaching as a way to get paid while having a holiday and (at that first interview, baby) usurps those who view it as a vocation.
Scotch and Elmore James was it? Now, “the fine twang" of Elmore –what does that mean?
Working on the premise that he’s a bluegrass artist I do feel we are indeed different fish.
I’m more into Iggy Pop and a gorgeous little lubricant –affectionately referred to as ‘this shit’- which I’ve recently developed (Red Bull, vodka, Bintang, marquis juice and a dash of tabasco). It’s a winner so get amongst it Leroy.
Shackled home-helper? I didn’t consider it a metaphor of her obligation to you, so the imagery was fantastic.
In my mind she’s young, pretty, built and wearing a pink baby-doll. Right? Thanks. I’m off to bed now.
It’s been real.
