Hey folks,
i came across this today and i figured i'd share it with you all. I'll probably attend since i'm only 2 hours away. Their clinics do sound interesting.

=========
The Third Job Fair for Foreigners in Beijing,Nov 5
The Third Job Fair for Foreign English Teachers and Professionals to be held November 5th.

The Third Teacher and Professional Job Fair will be held at the Hong Kong-Macau Center (Swisshotel building) on November 5th.

In addition to over 30 schools and university hiring officers, this event will have several global business Human Resource interviewers in attendance. The schools and businesses will be hiring for the hundreds of jobs currently listed on Chinajob.com employment website.

Over 30 schools and over 270 teachers attended the 2nd Job Fair on April 23rd in Beijing.

There will also be six simultaneous, day-long clinics presented at the Fair. Clinic One will have two English teachers with a combined teaching experience in China of over 30 years. They will discuss teaching problems with you and give you several hints and tips on how to teach Oral English in China.

Clinic Two will be hosted by the State Administration of Foreign Expert Affairs where you can get all the answers about visas, working permits, residence requirements, expert's rights and priviledges foreign expert certification.

Clinic Three will be conducted by a Foreign Affairs Officer (Wai Ban) from a well-known university in Beijing. The FAO will answer all you questions about what the FAO can and must do for you. The officer can all so fill you in on those things which an FAO cannot do for you.

Clinic Four will be presented and hosted by a Police Officer from the Beijing Public Security Office. "Ask a cop" - everything you wanted to know but were afraid to ask. A friendly, professional and non-threatening environment is a good opportunity to understand more about the Police Department's responsibility toward you and your responsibility toward China's laws and regulations.

Clinic Five will be chaired by two Chinese teachers of English. Get informed about what your students are studying in their English classes and why they seem so passive, shy and reticent to perform in your class.

Clinic Six will be for professionals. A Chinajob.com representative will be able to show you all the current job listings for professional personnel on our website. Everything from Accounting, Engineering, Management, Training, computers and technology are available for you to look at.

So, come on out! Come and meet and talk with the people who do the hiring. Sit down with them and discuss your particular career goals in China.

Chinajob.com's Job Fair is MORE than a place to find a job. It is a place for your to network, collect name cards, telephone numbers, brochures and email addresses.

See you at the Job Fair.

If last years job fair is anything to go by, then I shall'nt be going. The fair was geared more towards University teaching positions and those within special schools. Also I noticed they offered considerably less salary that they would do otherwise, maybe something to do with the volume of applications they expect.

I find myself to be better suited to public middle/high schools, the pickings at the fair were very slim.
