I seem to remember seeing some photos of megalithic stuff in Japan. The stonehendge monuments that is. Anyone know where they are? |

There is a Tokyo Tower. It's a orange and white striped version of the French landmark... but built just a little bit taller. |

i think you are talking about Asuka village. it is in Nara prefecture. there are a bunch of rocks and you can rent a bike from the station and spend the day riding around. i think it is very popular...if you need directions, it's near my house and kintetsu line |

There's a Dutch town somewhere too. Isn't Paris in Disneyland or is it another Euro destination? Before they've finished they will have recreated any and all tourist destinations of interest to the Japanese(see the official list-Itari, Egypto etc.) and then they will never have to leave home again. Next will be cell phones that quickly translate what they say into ingurishu and there'll be no more need for pesky, big nosed English teachers.  |
