I am looking to find some private English tution lessons. I know that I can place my ad in supermarkets, and am doing that. However, does anyone have any contacts of centres or agents that can help me find more work, i'm kind of desperate to find some extra work, especially as winter is fast approaching and there's less reason to spend my free time at the pool r the beach, may as well make do with that time and earn some money, clear those debts. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks. |

Yes, I've been here four years, I am on a sponspored visa, I have done lots of private work before which I got off an excellent private agent, but I have lost contact with that person now. So I'm looking for extra work, either some part-time work on my days off which are Sunday and Tuesday or doing some private home tution. |

This is my first post here -- hi everybody. I've been working for a private uni in Kowloon for a few months and the manager in the office has, on the sly, sent some tutoring work my way, friends and colleagues of hers who want some English practice. I'm finding that once you somehow get into a network of people and contacts, one thing leads to another, and the word gets out and some doors start to open. So maybe discretely mention to some Hong Kongers that you'll be interested in doing some private work -- and see what happens. Good luck! |
