I taught reading at P.S. 153 in Washington Heights in NYC back in 1999. To do this, I was fingerprinted and awarded a PPT license. I realize that NYC public education has undergone a host of changes since and my license is no longer valid there but I would like to get a copy of it for my records. Does anyone know whom I need to contact at the NYCBOE?

Contact the NY state board of certification. I don't know how long they keep their records, but I've gotten a copy of my certication through them back when I used to still hold valid certification. You should be able to contact them through the NY board of ed. website.
