| Here, here to that about accents. But they can be very dangerous. Men with accents should come with a warning slapped on their forehead reading "Warning may lead Australian women to dispense with all sense and logic". That goes double if there are those latino eyes involved too. |

Ok, Luna Chica and PT, any ideas as to why on earth we are like that??
Although I wouldn't admit to being fickle, it does make me wonder why a usually sensible and discriminating female (I mean me, stop laughing!!!) turns to a ridiculous blob of plasticine just at the sound of someone's voice! |

 Maybe this belongs in the Love and Relationships thread!
I think that an accent is like a little flag that says "unknown territory" and as traveller that is an invitation that is impossible to resist! Or maybe it says "this man is not Australian" thereby giving you a faint hope that he may be a halfway decent human being  ...nah, probably just the lure of the unknown.
