I gather from articles both here and in the press that there is a need for English teachers in Siberia because of the burgeoning oil industry. Where are the advertisements for these? |

Blowed if I know, I was approached.
When my HoD returns from Moscow I'll ask him where he advertised..not sure when that'll be, I didn't even know he was going 'til he was gone!
In the meantime, you could contact Lingva Centre, & 'Big Ben' in Surgut. Lingva Centre probably won't have anything to offer you, but I've heard on the grapevine that 'Big Ben' has been let down at the last minute by a few foreign teachers .. probably got cold feet (snort, I crack myself up! )
I'll try & get to 'Big Ben' tomorrow to get some contact details for you. |

Thanks very much. Having said that, I'm not immediately available. I'm thinkin more in the medium term. I've got things like finishing my CELTA course, saving some money in my present job, etc. |
