Does anyone have any info or exp buying pay as you go sim cards for mobiles?.
I will be taking my mobile with me to Chile but will leave my sim card at home as its too expensive to use abroad.
I have bought calling cards before in Chile but never used my own mobile phone there before.
Not sure what they called in Chile but in the U.K. they called pay as you go sim cards , the ones you top up without a monthly contract. |

entel for 2 grand -you can buy at any entel stand, they didn't even ask me for ID (a year and a half ago). You need a tri-band phone that's been unlocked (costs about a tenner to do this in england in any independent mobile phone shop) for it to work. |
