It's very unusual for 'kids' films to be shown in the original language. They are almost always translated. Best bet is to find a dvd of it. |

On a more serious note. When watching Wallace and Gromit think about how you can exploit it in class. |

There is a very good pack that goes witt the wrong trousers. We had it at our last school minus the film. One teacher was given a new 'kids' class, and was given the book as the material. She didn't check the book before she went in thus not realising that it needed a video. The class quickly descended into anarchy. |

What you just wrote, Alex, shows the crass joke that TEFL has become here.
The ''teacher'' couldn`t even be bothered to have a look, just a look, at the book before he/she entered the class. How the hell was the teacher going to teach it?
The diptstick DOS obviously couuldn`t have given a toss.
The long suffering students lost a lesson and the parents were ripped off.
The ''school'' obviously didn`t give a toss about their resources and a previous backpacker probabley stole the video anyway so they could skive off on their next crappy excuse for a job. |

Too true Mark. I asked for a replacement video, got told to look down the 'copy shop'. In the end I started buying my own materials and charging the school, they used to give me funny looks when I handed in reciepts for magazines/coloured cardboard/blank CDs etc.
'What this for?'
'Errr. Teaching!' |

*Trying so hard not to join the grumbling...*
Delal, sometimes in Istanbul, kids' films are shown in English with subtitles at the later showings, like the last 2 of the evening... |
