I really enjoyed my experience in NJ. Lots of jobs available, check out the post above on websites for jobs. NJ has lots of schools and universities, so it won't be a problem finding a job. It is a fairly large and has a subway line, a good amount of imported foreign goods, and the people are friendly. The summer is extremely hot and the winter is very cold. Things are pretty cheap in NJ too compared to Beijing, Shanghai, etc...
It will also be different experience from the other cities you have taught in...

Just tell me what you need to know, man!

I have been here in NJ for nearly eight years. It is one of the most 'liveable' cities in China.

I thought you meant New Jersey. Avoid that s**t pit like the plague. Toxic waste dump to the world and full of very mean people who drive house-size SUV's and try to kill you on Route 22!

The reason New Yorkers are so depressed? The light at the end of the tunnel is New Jersey.

Nanjing? Yeah, neat place, but as another poster said, hot as the hinges of hell: one of the four furnaces of China. People are great. Food is delicious and cheap.

I'd take it.
