At 58 but with extensive corporate experience internationally, am I too old to find teaching positions in Asia? As a chemical engineer having worked in the chemical, petroleum and plastics industry, I am looking for a corporate or business English teaching / coaching position on contracts of 6 or 12 months. Viet Nam and India are preferred locations. Both my wife and I speak French and Spanish. I have recently taught English in Spain. I have TEFL cert.

My grandmother is teaching in Thailand and she's 80. She worked in both Laos and Cambodia before she moved to Bangkok. She has no problems with her finding jobs.

You both can definitly find work teaching English and perhaps French too. Age is not a factor in Vietnam's ESL community when it comes to employability.
