Just what is going on in this forum ? I know that the is the summer holiday time (for some of us ) but there is a definite lack of the usual banter and verbal discourse at the moment ,but then wait a minute all the old players are in the newbie forum throwing insults at my old sparring partner Linda Linda ,what gives guys are the newbies more sport ? Has the G.D.F. (general discussion forum) gone off the boil or has some private wars started and we (thats me ,myself , I ) haven't being told about it . Get back to your proper place remember those newbies are a protected species ,the future of this blighted industry and the last thing you want is a bad sob like me coming over there and spoiling for a fight .

Yeah...you are right.perhaps some of it is due to the summer doldrums(bu the way, there is really a place called The Doldrums,I think it is some body of water where ships used to be becalmed(no wind),hence to be in the doldrums,no action)
Well,the Doldrums(or, if you prefer doldrums).Then some people are on vacation,like doors,who will probably reappear sometime in the future.Others like Gary B.(Chow for Now from Motown)we do not hear much from anymore.Linda Linda(if "she" is the same as "Linda L") I do not think you will be hearing too much more from her.
And some people probably just get"burned out"on the forums,and decide to go do something else.Like see a movie.Or teach.Etc.But you are right.

Bnix cos I'm right I was just starting to think it was something I may have said on another thread or even worse something I didn't . Sounds like the newbie forum is more fun these days pity about Linda I was starting to warm to her underlying caring and friendly nature even if she did try to get me banned .
Perhaps we could start a bring back Linda campaign come back all is forgiven Linda we won't use bad words on your anymore that begin with P or S (nasty) . Do you think my tongue is firmly enough in my cheek ?
